“Good Night, Sleep Tight”
Is said to Originate from Tudor Times
Once the bed had been used
the rope would stretch so
“ sleep tight”
was a reminder to tighten the
ropes before sleeping.




This was done by twisting a short piece of wood in the rope & then hammering in a peg to secure it
